Shipping costs

MVS has a fixed price for shipping within New Zealand, regardless of how many items you buy:

$6.00 NZ Post, Tracked

Spend over $150 and receive Free Shipping (within New Zealand only)

At MVS we aim to get your product to you safely and in the fastest way possible:

All orders will be couriered via our nominated courier company Courier Post.

Expected delivery date is 3 - 10 business days following purchase.

MVS accepts responsibility for any parcels in transit throughout New Zealand prior to being delivered to your home/business address if we are notified within 10 working days. We cannot accept responsibility for your parcel once delivery has been made.

 

International shipping:

Shipping costs to Australia is $25.00, Track and Trace with Signature Required. Please expect 715 days for delivery. Goods are sent via NZ Post.

Please email us for shipping costs outside of New Zealand and Australia. 

Track and Trace

You will receive email confirmation of shipping, including the courier tracking number. This email will contain your track and trace number which can be tracked via the Courier Post Website or phone them on 0800 268 743. All items can be tracked at any stage once you have received the confirmation email. 

Refund Policy:

 

Ordering is easy and risk-free

At MVS we aim to keep online shopping as stress-free as possible. You can exchange/return any item that’s not right and we’ll either exchange it for a different size or refund your money.* 

Items $15 and under are not eligible for a refund - store credits and exchanges are welcome on those items. 

We abide by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986. If you are not happy with ANY aspect of your experience with MVS, let us know!  

EXCHANGE PROCESS

If you can’t find a replacement item on the site and would simply like a refund.

Exchanges are possible 30 days from date of purchase.**

If you wish to exchange an item, you have two options:

Option 1:

Buy correct item, then return item for refund

This is the fastest way to get your new item back to you. Also cheapest as you can add a return courier bag to your order for only $5.99

  1. Email us at glen@macvicioussociety.com and let us know what you are returning and your reasons.
  2. Please browse our site and purchase the correct item.
  3. When you receive your new order, it will include the pre-paid bag (if you have purchased one). You can place your unwanted items in there and either give them back to the same courier driver, or call 0800 COURIER and have them pick it up.
  4. Please ensure items are in their original condition with tags attached and in their original packaging or boxes. We are not able to accept damaged goods.
  5. Once received in our warehouse, we will inspect the returned items and process your refund within 24 hours.

 

Option 2:

 

Return item, then buy new item

This is not as quick as Option 1 and is also slightly more costly and time consuming. BUT you won’t have to pay for the goods twice.

  • Please email us at glen@macvicioussociety.comand let us know what you are returning and your reasons.
  • If you would like to exchange your items, you will need to find the items you want by browsing our site using the menus above and adding everything you want to your cart.
  • You will then have to place the order. Select payment method.
  • Returns will give you a unique free shipping voucher you can use here. This will entitle you to free shipping on this order only as we send the first exchange back to you for free. Please select the “Free Shipping” Option.
  • THIS PROCESS IS JUST TO HOLD THE STOCK SO IT DOESN’T SELL OUT. THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY ANYTHING IF IT’S A STRAIGHT EXCHANGE.
  • Please note, if the items you are exchanging cost more, then this will need to be paid before we send the new items. If the items cost less, then we will refund the difference back to you once we receive back the items.
  • Once the order is confirmed, please pack all items with your invoice (if not included this will delay processing)in a secure bag/box or reuse the original courier bag/box.
  • Please ensure items are in their original condition with tags attached and in their original packaging or boxes. We are not able to accept damaged goods.
  • Address the parcel to:

  • If your return item is lost in the post MVS does not accept responsibility so PLEASE use a traceable method
  • Once received in our warehouse, we will inspect and process the goods within 24 hours.

REFUND PROCESS

  1. If you would like to exchange for a different item on the site.
  2. Items must be back at our warehouse within 14 days from date of purchase for a refund.

  2. Please pack all items with your invoice (if not included this will delay processing) in a secure bag/box or reuse the original courier bag/box.

FAULTY RETURNS 

If for any reason you receive a faulty item please contact us at glen@macvicioussociety.comWe will happily send you a replacement if we have one in stock, or if you prefer we will refund your faulty item. We aim to have your refund processed within 48 hours of receipt.*

If an order is deemed faulty, we will gladly reimburse the return postage up to a total of $10.00.

*Refunds are purchase price less any courier costs.

**We will only cover the cost of the courier on the first exchange. If you wish to exchange the new item again, you will need to cover courier costs here. On sales items, we can’t cover the cost of the courier back to you. We still allow the exchange, but you have to pay for the new item to be shipped back to you.

Warranties

MVS’s warranty covers products for 12 months from the date of purchase. The warranty covers any defect or fault that has occurred due to the manufacturing process. It does not include damage that may have occurred due to misuse of the product, wear and tear or where an accident has damaged the product. The warranty includes repair or replacement of the product and the cost of freight to return the product.

The warranty has a number of options:

Firstly, where we can we will repair the product to factory standard and return it to you. If this is not possible we will replace the product with the same product or a similar product. If we cannot repair or replace we will exchange for a product or products of the same value. If we cannot do any of the above then we will offer a full refund or store credit.

Privacy Policy

MVS is committed to the protection of your personal information. This Privacy Statement contains lots of legal talk and all you probably want to know is that we are an genuine Kiwi company and that we will do everything within our power to ensure your information is safe and that we don’t send you any emails unless you explicitly ask us to... Collection of your personal information

The types of personal information that we collect from you will depend on how you use this website and how you interact with us. For example, when purchasing products online we collect details such as your name, delivery address and email address.

 

When you use this website our Internet Service Provider (ISP) may make a record of your visit and log your server address, your domain name, the date, time and duration of your visit, the pages and documents you accessed, the previous site you had accessed (ie the referring URL) and the type of browser you are using. This information is collected for statistical purposes only, and MVS will not make any attempt to identify users according to their browsing activity.

 

In the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our ISP’s logs. It is also possible that your ISP is logging your activity while you visit our site. This is obviously beyond the control of MVS.

 

While you are visiting our site we use cookies to facilitate a more personalised web-browsing experience. Except where you volunteer personal or business information we will not procure information about you via any alternative means while you visit our site.

How we use and disclose personal information

The personal information that you provide to us on this site and in other interactions between us is used to provide you with better service for the supply of our products to you. The information we gather from your use of this website enables us to provide more personalised products and services that are tailored to your needs. MVS will not sell, rent or trade your personal information.


Any personal or business information which you do supply will only be used internally at MVS and will not be divulged to a third party unless that third party is integral to the purpose for which you gave us the information (eg, delivery companies will be supplied with delivery information) or where required by law. We will only use and disclose information about you for the purpose for which you gave us that information. We may use and disclose information about you for a purpose other than the purpose for which you gave us the information where:

  • You would reasonably expect us to use or disclose the personal information for that other purpose
  • That other purpose is related to the purpose for which you gave us the information
  • You have given us your consent for the personal information to be used or disclosed for the additional purpose
  • Where there are reasonable grounds to believe that use or disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health

MVS may also use your personal information for the purpose of direct marketing. We may only use your personal information or data for the purpose of direct marketing in relation to promotional activities where it is impracticable for us to obtain your prior express consent. However, when we do this, we will provide an express opportunity when we first contact you to decline receiving any further marketing communications from us, via an opt-out mechanism.

We will only record your email address if you send us a message. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent. We will only send emails to you if you have elected to receive such emails or if they are in response to an email we have received from you.

While MVS employs advanced data encryption technology when interfacing with its customers, suppliers and other partners, users should be aware that there is a residual risk in transmitting any data electronically. This risk is inherent in all Internet dealings.

How to access, correct or update your information

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Please contact us if your details change or if you believe the information we have about you is not accurate or complete. We will provide you with reasonable opportunity to access your personal information and have it corrected or updated. A fee may apply to such access. Exceptions to your access rights include:

  • Where providing access will pose a serious threat to the life or health or any individual or pose an unreasonable impact on the privacy of an individual
  • Your request for access is frivolous or vexatious
  • Where the information relates to existing legal proceedings between MVS and you and the information would not be discoverable in the process of those legal proceedings or
  • Where providing access would be unlawful, may prejudice an investigation of possible unlawful activity, may prejudice enforcement of laws, or denying access is specifically authorised by law.
